Pol The Pirate Mouse

With a very talented team of creative people I have directed the serie of ‘Pol, the pirate mouse’.

Pol may be the smallest pirate ever, but she has the greatest adventures. Together with her friends Lou, Pasha, Robin, and Skip, she explores the world in their own pirate ship Bamboom. Even though everyone is different and no one is perfect, the little pirates all want the same thing: to find treasure. And if you look with Pol's fresh eyes, you'll find it everywhere. Did you know you can spin around on a pinecone? Twigs make fantastic water skis. And a feather quickly becomes a sword for Pol (which you can tickle someone with). In this adventure series, which is as cheerful as it is touching, you see the world through Pol's eyes (or rather, through one eye, because there's a patch over the other...).

Pol, the pirate mouse had it’s premiere at Cinekid and was nominated for best Dutch serie. It was made for the AvroTros and was aired in October and November. The Special will be shown during the Christmas holidays, on the 24th of December on NPO3, AvroTros.
